The Deep South Fair is proudly operated by the Thomasville Exchange Club, a local organization dedicated to serving and strengthening our community.
Service Beyond the Fair
Since 1946, the Thomasville Exchange Club has worked to make a positive impact throughout our area. The Club organized the first Deep South Fair in 1958, beginning a tradition that continues to bring generations of families together.
Proceeds from the fair help support the Club’s community efforts, including child abuse prevention programs, scholarships for local students and other local initiatives.
Every visit to the Deep South Fair helps support a tradition of service that reaches far beyond the fairgrounds.

Serving Our Community
Service is at the heart of the Thomasville Exchange Club. Through recognition programs, student initiatives and support for local organizations, the Club works to celebrate and strengthen the people who make our community a better place.
Student of the Month
Each month of the school year the Thomasville Exchange Club recognizes an outstanding student and his/her parents. Each Student is selected by a committee of teachers at the school.
These outstanding young people are tomorrow’s leaders. Each recipient receives an engraved plaque.
2017 Peace Officer of the Year
The Thomasville Exchange Club recognized LT.Thomas Dennis of the Thomas County Sheriff’s Department as the 2017 Peace Officer of the Year.
